This replica of a 1954 diner sign was a team
effort, led by Providence Painted Signs, to
replace the original which had gone beyond
repair. Will Reeves took on the fabrication,
Shawn Gilheeney did the paint work and
lettering, and the neon was handled by the
team at Nebula Neon and Elizabeth Potenza.

Twenty years after leaving her elementary school in Beverly, Massachusetts,
Amanda Beard Garcia was back to design and paint a mural in the main lobby.
She donated her time; the fourth graders covered the cost of materials.
The message is one of inclusion—for everyone associated with the school,
and voters when the space is used as a polling station.
