Bamboophabet
UK
Inspired by a tiki-loving client, Nathan Collis
(aka Muchamuckle Signs) started creating
a letter a day using Procreate, which went
on to become an entire alphabet. To give
the “Bamboophabet” a life beyond the
screen, Ali from Manson’s Press produced
a limited edition four-colour screen print.
Nathan commented that he “really enjoyed
the process and constraints of the printing,
which have resulted in an unexpected ‘pulp’
aesthetic with retro texture and colour”.

Atukasa
SPAIN
Adrián Pérez was given a free hand when designing this sign for a new
takeaway sushi restaurant in Barcelona. The name is a play on the Spanish
phrase “a tu casa” (to your house), and is given in both the hiragana and
katakana Japanese scripts. Help on the translation of these elements
was provided by Shinya Nakahara / @moderntwistsigns.
