Finally, after chiselling out the large crack towards
the right of the sign, it was time to beat it up. This
stopped short of trying to recreate the prominent
damage to the top right of the frame so that the
structural integrity of the replica was preserved.
A variety of implements were used to beat the
sign, and it was chucked about the workshop a bit.
